Come in and sip some of the best locally roasted coffee with the queen of coffee, Mary Tellie! In this class you will discover the amazing world of coffee tasting as all of your senses are indulged. You will be able to identify the unique characteristics of the taste aroma body acidity and understand the different varietals of coffee beans and origin profiles. A fun night that is sure to please the senses!

Wine and Cheese Artist’s Reception for Albert OndushFriday, June 5, 6-9 pm.
Albert Ondush, a local awarding-winning artist will be showcasing his watercolor paintings at Danielle and Company for the summer. Please join us at this FREE event as we admire his work. Wine and cheese will be served.
Albert Ondush is a professional artist and art educator who has maintained a studio in northeastern Pennsylvania since 1960. His landscapes, still-lifes, flowers, and portraits of buildings in watercolor and oil are represented in private and public collections throughout the country. A graduate of Kutztown University, Mr. Ondush was an art instructor in the Abington Heights School District for over forty years; adjunct faculty at Penn State University, University of Scranton and Marywood University. He has won many awards throughout his 40 years of painting and is a member of many professional artist affiliations. Mr. Ondush has also studied extensively with world renown artists such as: Xavier Gonzalez, John Pike, Everett Raymond Kinstler, who painted four official portraits of presidents of the United States, and renowned watercolor artist, Timothy J. Clark.

Summer Watercolor Painting Series with Albert Ondush10 part series Every Saturday starting June 6th and ending August 15th. 2-4 pm.Albert Ondush, Local Award-winning Watercolor Artist
Danielle and Company is honored to have Mr. Ondush teach a 10 series class on the Basics of Watercolor Painting. In this class, he will teach the basics of painting, working in watercolor and incorporating value, color, patterns of light and dark. He will guide the students on selecting a subject, and bringing out the individuality of each person’s perception and comprehension of the subject.
In the first class, Mr. Ondush will discuss supplies and subjects as well as doing a painting demonstration. NOTE: Do not purchase supplies until after the first class. If you have supplies, bring them to the first class for Mr. Ondush to evaluate. If available, students may bring samples of their work.
$25 per class, or $200 for the series (save $50) when you register for all of the classes prior to the first class.
Limit 12 students.
*Note: It is strongly encouraged that you participate in all 10 of the classes although this is not required. There will not be a class on June 20th.

Local Authors Book SigningSaturday, June 20, 2-4 pm.
Local Authors. Local Titles. Local Topics. Meet four regional authors as they discuss their books and sign copies of their work. Alyssa Amori includes over 100 regional photos in her photo book Scranton: The Electric City. Molly Roe offers a glimpse into a young girl's life as a miner's daughter in the adventure Call Me Kate: Meeting the Molly Maguires. Judy Sweeney recalls the workingman's weekend escape at Moosic Lake in Gateway to the Clouds. Rich Revta, a baseball lifer, has taken 50 years of notes and complied them together to create a baseball guide for all little league coaches in Where have all the Catcher’s Gone.

Have you ever wondered what exactly “green beauty” is? Does the back of a product label make your head spin? Well this is the class to figure it all out! Bring in any bath, body or beauty care product and Danielle will help you “navigate the bottle”. Learn the “dirty dozen” of harmful skin care ingredients to avoid as well as the ingredients that are good for you! You will also receive recipes to make green beauty care products at home and will make a Super Hydrating Organic Bath & Body Oil with your choice of scent during the class!

Wednesday, June 24, 6:30 pm.

There are many ways to make your home green that are simple and easy to do! Learn the tricks of the trade to live a cleaner and healthier life within your home. Danielle will teach you how to have an eco-friendly home and show you the brands and ingredients that are good for you and the ones to avoid in the shopping aisle. You will also receive over 15 recipes to make cleaning products at home and will make an Organic Linen Spray in your choice of scent during the class!

Did you ever wonder how to keep a green kitchen? From recycling, to composting to what you eat and how you clean it, this class is filled with eco-friendly tidbits for a cleaner and greener kitchen! Learn the difference between conventional and organic foods, how to stay away from pesticide loaded foods, the importance of buying local and how little things can make a big difference! Come and learn and share your knowledge! We will make an organic veggie wash for you to take home too!

Green Pets
Monday, July 27, 6:30 pm.

Greening is not just for humans! Learn how to green your pets and the homes they live in. We will examine the hot trends in eco-friendly pets and learn how to make the environment a safer place for our furry friends! We will make a natural Dog Flea & Bug Spray and natural litter refresher for cats! You will also get recipes to make your own doggie and kitty treats at home…naturally!
$15.00 per class, Limit 15 students

Registration Dates
You can register for a class up to 24 hours prior. There will be waiting lists for all classes if they are sold out, and students will be contacted as soon as a seat becomes available.
Fees
Students must pay for class in full at time of registration. Payments are non-refundable for cancellations by students unless a replacement is found for your seat. Seats are transferable and must notify Danielle and Company of the transfer.
Cancellation Policy
Danielle and Company has the right to cancel a class for any reason. In the event of a cancellation, students will receive 48 hour notice. Refunds or credits for future classes will be sent within 7 days of the cancellation.
Location
All classes will take place at our factory: 831 Adams Ave. Scranton, PA 18510, unless otherwise noted.
Help Save the Bees!
5% of the proceeds from class will go to the Honeybee Research Fund, a partnership with Danielle and Company and Penn State University to find a cure for Colony Collapse Disorder.
